3D: Week 3
This week in maya we have learnt to apply our own painted textures onto the surface of our models i.e projection mapping. I feel personally this is a lot easier than the previously shown Uv unwrapping, as there is a lot less steps to follow. However I think when applied correctly the UV can be seen just as good an application of textures as the projection mapping, maybe a little more in some cases as it fits completely around the model, rather than just painted on.
