2D: Week 4

I have managed to paint over my scan of the base onto photoshop and have now been searching for an artist inspiration. I believe that the above, John Atkinson Grimshaw, displays the gloomy theme I was going for well as, I feel the colours are perfectly complimented with one another, especially with the projected green light of the moon on clouds. I will try and use this within my own painting, however this is my first time using digital painting properly so I am not sure what to expect; but I will give it my best shot.
