Elongated Head Turn

After watching Bugs Bunny and other cartoon clips to see how the motion blur works, I found it enjoyable to try and imitate them with the extremely drawn out drawings! It was interesting to see how quickly an animation can move between one frame to another without the viewer seeing the in-between. The animation above creates this ideal, but I did struggle with how many frames I should include and how long I should hold them for, as the middle frames were very visible when played; which is opposite of what I was looking for. To counteract this I added in more frames of the different motions of his face, however I feel that this has slightly detracted from the work and the movement is not quite as smooth as it could be. The colour was an experimentation with the different tools on TVpaint and allowed me to explore the different styles that could be produced.
